1. Be Responsible. Bring everything that you will need for the class period, including your notebook, a pencil, and any work that is due. Anything assigned for homework has to be turned in at the beginning of the class period to get full credit. Also, you must be responsible for getting any missed notes or assignments during an absence. Remember, you have one day for every day you were absent to turn in your missed work.
2. Be Respectful. You are expected to be courteous and respectful to all students, teachers, and guests. There will be no swearing, name-calling, or rude statements. Failure to follow this rule could result in disciplinary action. All phones are to be off and put away from 7:30 AM until dismissal.
Substitute Teachers -- If there is a substitute in the room, then you are to respect that person as your teacher. If a substitute writes your name down for disrupting class for any reason it is an automatic phone call home with a teacher detention and a possible discipline referral.
3. Be Prepared. You are required to have your notebook and a pencil each day for class. Make sure if there was any other supplies needed for the day that you have those items as well!
4. Ask Questions. You learn a subject best when you learn from your mistakes. If you don’t understand something, ASK! I will always to be willing to work with you if you seek out the assistance!
